Using predominately Luis’s second interpretation, I created the second for COHERE | DISPERSE using  pen and transparent paper. I named it Ebb & Flow because while I was mapping Luis’s performance, the shapes in my drafts reminded me of the inward and outward movements of the sea. Later, I completely flattened my shapes out, reducing them to simple dots and lines depending on whether the note was higher or lower in pitch than the previous. After finishing, the name still stuck with me. So here it is. Ebb & Flow.
